I’m David Harris.
Full-stack developer, tech lead, Army veteran, and dad of five.
I build and modernize software with .NET and React. This is my notebook for development lessons, personal projects, and life beyond the code.
My work spans frontend applications, backend services, and modernizing existing software. I’ve taken on technical leadership and mentoring, and I’ve also run a small web development business.
Before software became my full-time work, I served in the Army. My background brings together building, teaching, and working with people.

Why I think junior developers should build a strong work ethic, and how showing up, learning the work, and taking ownership helped me move forward.
Work through a development problem with me, talk through a career decision, or get in touch about a freelance project.
Focused developer sessions draw on my experience across .NET, React, technical leadership, and mentoring. Read how they work and what to send before we meet.
