I’m David Harris, a full-stack developer with over nine years in professional web development. My background includes technical leadership, mentoring developers, and working directly with small-business owners.

Focused developer sessions

I offer focused, one-to-one sessions to work through a real problem together. That might mean investigating a confusing bug, finding your way around an unfamiliar codebase, or talking through how to implement a feature.

My core experience is in .NET and React, with work across user interfaces, backend services, and existing applications. The focus is the problem in front of you: understanding what’s happening, working through your questions, and identifying a useful next step.

Sessions can also focus on career advice and growing as a developer. I draw on my own transition into software, experience leading teams, and work mentoring other developers.

Email me with a short description of what you’d like help with and what you hope to get out of the conversation. For a technical problem, include where you’re stuck and what you’ve already tried. Leave out credentials, customer data, and anything you don’t have permission to share.

Before we meet

I review what you send before the session so I can come prepared. We’ll agree on what to focus on and what context I need beforehand.

Before booking, we’ll discuss whether the session is a good fit and agree on the scope and price.

During the session, we’ll work through your questions together, with the aim of helping you identify a useful next step.
