Software is a big part of my life, but it isn’t the whole picture. These are a few things I enjoy outside the work.

Being a dad

I’m a dad of five. Parenting is a big part of my life, with lessons I’m still learning as my kids grow.

Getting outdoors

I love hunting, fishing, and outdoor recreation. When I can, I spend my free time outdoors.

Staying mobile

After my time in the Army, I’m gradually working on getting back into shape. My goal is to stay mobile and keep enjoying the things I love as I get older.

For me, health and fitness are part of being able to get out and do those things.

Learning electronics

I’ve recently started learning about electronics and building things. I’m still at the beginning, with plenty to learn.

Part of the same notebook

I want this notebook to have room for these parts of my life, alongside my work in software. I can add to it as I learn, build, and have something worth sharing.
